Contact lens Exams:
At our clinic, we aspire to meet all of your eye health and visual needs. After a comprehensive eye health exam with one of our optometrists, our contact lens fitter Tamara will discuss contact lens options that will suit your visual needs and lifestyle. To make sure that contacts are a right choice for you, make sure you mention to our fitter whether you suffer from dry eye, allergies or recurring eye infections.
Evaluation:
Prior to prescribing contact lenses, our optometrists determine what level of vision correction you require. Our optometrists will evaluate your prescription (refractive error commonly known as nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism), Optomap screening (a quick, painless way to determine the health of your eye which can lead to early detection of common diseases such as glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration and retinal holes or tears).
Corrective Lenses:
Once your comprehensive eye exam is complete, one of our Licensed Opticians or qualified optometric assistants will work with you to determine the best options for you based on your needs and lifestyle. We carry a wide variety of options such as soft or rigid contact lenses, corneal refractive therapy (CRT, lenses you wear at night to correct nearsighted prescriptions allowing you to be glasses and contacts free during the day), and multifocal (bifocal) contacts. There are many different modalities such as daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly depending on what type will work best for your needs.
